Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor handles mortgage originations and acts as the primary contact for customers throughout the loan life cycle. Responsibilities include coaching and training branch staff, meeting with customers, introducing clients to bankers for additional products, collaborating on marketing efforts, promoting mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, and serving as the internal and external mortgage expert. Requires consultative selling, knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, and strong communication skills; 3+ years of mortgage lending and sales experience in retail banking are preferred. The role is subject to regulatory and licensing requirements including NMLS registration and adherence to the SAFE Act and Truth in Lending Act.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
