Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor. Responsible for coaching branch teams on mortgage products, meeting with customers, and promoting mortgage loan originations within in-footprint territories. Acts as the mortgage expert, provides consultative financial analysis and product recommendations, collaborates with bankers and marketing teams to enhance the customer experience, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act) and NMLS licensing. Requires strong knowledge of FHA/VA guidelines, real estate market locally, and effective relationship-building, sales, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
