Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending drives mortgage loan originations and delivers an exceptional customer experience by coaching branch teams, meeting with clients, and partnering with bankers to promote cross-sell opportunities. The role leverages consultative financial analysis and product knowledge (FHA/VA, FNMA, FHLMC) to guide clients through the loan process, while collaborating with branches and marketing/design efforts to grow mortgage business and maintain strong customer relationships. The position requires regulatory awareness and adherence to lending guidelines, with responsibilities including training teammates, advising on real estate and lending products, and maintaining partnerships across retail locations to originate mortgages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
Additional Requirements
- This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators; conviction history/financial responsibility review may apply
- NMLS registration required and ongoing compliance with SAFE Act
- Felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify from consideration
