Job Summary
Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services while collaborating with bankers to meet with customers and introduce new clients to additional offerings. Builds a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations and utilizes centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, and cross-sell efforts to create an outstanding customer experience. Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances. Develops a role as the internal and external mortgage expert by maintaining good relationships with customers and adhering to all regulatory requirements while marketing Chase's financial products. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of mortgage lending experience, and NMLS registration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- FHA/VA sales experience
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
