Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor helps clients navigate the home loan process and drives mortgage-originations growth. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring branch teams, meeting with customers and introducing them to bankers for additional products, collaborating with the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience through marketing and cross-sell efforts, developing partnerships with retail branches to promote mortgage loans, and acting as the internal/external mortgage expert with strong consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and product knowledge. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales/real estate, 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven retail banking sales experience, and knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines; preferred qualifications include FHA/VA sales experience, relationship-building and marketing skills, and intermediate PC skills. The role requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements and NMLS registration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
