Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor collaborates with branch teams to coach on products and services, meet with customers and introduce new clients to bankers for additional mortgage products, drives mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, and serves as the internal/external mortgage expert. Responsible for delivering consultative financial guidance based on customers' goals, maintaining regulatory compliance (Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act), leveraging marketing efforts and partnerships, and contributing to an outstanding customer experience through cross-sell and relationship-building with customers and branches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- NMLS registration under SAFE Act (as part of regulatory requirements)
- Employment contingent on compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements
