Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor at Chase Home Lending in Houston area. Coaches and mentors branch teams on product training, meets with customers to discuss mortgage options, and collaborates on marketing and cross-sell efforts to promote mortgage loan originations. Acts as the internal/external mortgage expert, providing consultative recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer's goals. Requires knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and compliance with regulatory requirements, including Truth in Lending and the SAFE Act; NMLS registration is required. The role emphasizes relationship-building with customers and branches, collaboration with bankers, and guidance through the home loan process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
