Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor responsible for guiding clients through mortgage loan originations, coaching the branch team on products/services, collaborating with bankers to introduce clients to additional offerings, and delivering an outstanding customer experience through coordinated marketing and cross-sell efforts. Build partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage originations within footprint territories, act as internal/external mortgage expert, provide consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and customer needs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Dodd-Frank/TILA, NMLS/SAFE Act). Requires knowledge of FHA/VA and mortgage guidelines, strong communication skills, and ability to leverage marketing efforts and relationships to drive homeownership goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
