Job Summary
Coach and mentor the branch team on products and services while collaborating with bankers to introduce new clients to additional offerings. Work directly with customers to promote mortgage loan originations in assigned territories, utilizing direct mail, media advertisements, and outbound lead sourcing to create an outstanding customer experience. Build relationships as an internal and external mortgage expert, providing consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of mortgage lending experience, and NMLS registration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- FHA/VA sales experience
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
