Job Summary
Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services while working with bankers to meet customers and introduce new clients. Partner with the team to create an outstanding customer experience using direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, and electronic newsletters. Build strong partnerships with retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations and function well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships. Develop your role as an internal and external mortgage expert by building relationships with customers and providing recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- FHA/VA sales experience
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators

- In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
