Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor drives mortgage loan originations and guides clients to homeownership. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring branch teams on products/services, meeting with customers with bankers to cross-sell additional products, leveraging marketing and lead-sourcing tools, and developing partnerships with retail branches to promote mortgage business. Must exhibit consultative skills with financial analysis and product knowledge, maintain relationships with customers, and comply with regulatory requirements (Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act) and NMLS/SAFE Act registration. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in sales/real estate and 3+ years in mortgage lending with knowledge of FHA/VA guidelines; strong communication, relationship-building, and PC skills are essential. Industry experience within real estate markets and mortgage guidelines is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines

- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
