Job Summary
Manage large, multi-disciplinary highway and roadway reconstruction projects across New Hampshire, guiding teams from concept through construction administration. Lead pre-design planning and financial management for NHDOT and municipal pursuits, overseeing geometric layout, grading, drainage, and environmental permitting in accordance with state and local regulations. Train junior staff on NHDOT standards and municipal processes while coordinating with state staff, utilities, and stakeholders to advance public involvement. Requires current PE in New Hampshire and 11+ years of roadway design experience. Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- 11+ years of roadway/highway design experience
- at least 5+ years managing highway or roadway design projects
- Current PE in New Hampshire, or PE in another state with the ability to obtain New Hampshire licensure within six months
- Experience leading state DOT–funded and/or federally funded municipal roadway improvement projects
- direct experience with NHDOT standards, procedures, and funding programs
