Job Summary
Senior Highway Engineer responsible for highway plan development including highway geometrics, roadway modeling, cross section development, grading and drainage, erosion and sediment control, storm water management, traffic control, signing and pavement marking, utility coordination, and right-of-way plan development. Lead design and review of all phases of highway plan development for diverse transportation projects; mentor and coach junior designers; support proposal development and business development activities; active involvement with Client Service Teams. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a Pennsylvania PE license, and 5+ years of highway design experience. Proficiency in OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with PennDOT and PA Turnpike procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 5 years of highway design experience
- Experience with PennDOT and PA Turnpike on transportation projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads
