Senior HEC Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Ensure stability, performance, and security of the HEC network by performing and leading tasks associated with Service Requests, Incident Management, and lifecycle change management activities. Conduct root cause analysis and problem management while guiding support staff and collaborating with senior engineers across compute, storage, and application domains. Deliver high-quality documentation and contribute to service, architecture, and design reviews to optimize network performance. Represent the Network team to external customers, internal LoBs, and vendors. Requires 6-8 years of experience, CCNP/CCDE preferred, and profound ITIL knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6-8 years relevant experience in a senior network engineer role
- at least 3 years in data center environments
- Ability to solve complex infrastructure issues
- Ability to lead a team of other engineers
- Ability to ensure high quality of submitted change requests and associated implementations of complex changes
- Implementation including associated risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Working on monitoring/orchestrator tools
- Knowledge of security aspects on systems
- Profound ITIL knowledge
- ability to guide/coach others
- Working via standard ITSM tools
- experience in a customer-facing engineering role
Desired Qualifications
- Technology Certification(s) CCNP/CCDE preferred
- ITIL certification/s
