Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts, material handling equipment, and industrial assets throughout the Madison, AL territory. Perform advanced troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and powertrain systems while completing preventive maintenance and safety inspections. Document service activity, communicate repair needs directly with customers, and manage service calls efficiently within your assigned area. Support junior technicians when needed to ensure equipment uptime and operational safety.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Forklift Technician, Field Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Equipment Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar technician role
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, engine, drivetrain, or industrial equipment systems
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in industrial environments
