Job Summary
Service and repair heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front-end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars. Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning, and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance per site checklist and manage paperwork such as work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples. Maintain additional equipment like light plants, water pumps, welders, and other shop assets. Operate in both indoor garage/shop/gas plant conditions and outdoor environments with inclement weather, heat, humidity, dirt, odors, and noise. Exert physical effort including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, and grasping.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of maintenance mechanic experience on heavy equipment
- A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
