Senior Healthcare Economics Analyst

Lead end-to-end analytical projects from scoping and data acquisition through insight delivery and stakeholder presentation. Design and maintain advanced dashboards, models, and reports that track contract performance, utilization, cost trends, and population health outcomes. Serve as a strategic partner to clinical, operational, and financial leadership, translating complex data into executive-level recommendations. Drive value-based care analytics, including risk stratification, gap-in-care identification, network performance, and total cost of care modeling. Lead cross-functional collaborations with IT, data engineering, and clinical informatics to define data standards and improve pipeline reliability. Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement and establish best practices and analytical standards for the team. Stay current on healthcare policy, reimbursement changes, and emerging analytics methodologies to translate implications for the organization. This role supports Avalon's mission to improve clinical outcomes and health care affordability for over 100 million members.
