Senior Healthcare Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines, and goals for one or more healthcare construction projects. Walk the site to actively monitor safety, inspect work and equipment, and verify that subcontractor operations meet required specifications. Monitor overall project progress, review team processes for consistency, and maintain the project schedule and budget by collaborating with Senior Superintendents and subcontractors. Read construction documents to determine requirements and plan procedures, while recording operational data in personnel, production, and project logs. This role requires 100% travel and involves working primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating vehicles and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 5-10 years of experience working as a Superintendent on construction projects
- 1 year on a construction project as a Senior Superintendent in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures
- Knowledge of all crafts of construction including, but not limited to carpentry, concrete, structural steel, and interior build-outs
- Experience managing performance and leading a diverse field team
- General Computer skills (MS Office)
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull greater than 50lbs with assistance
- Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement
- Must be able to operate assigned equipment and vehicles
- Must be able to verbally communicate to exchange information
- Must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction
- Must be able to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
