Job Summary
Senior Health Specialist role located in Brisbane, Hybrid arrangement. Lead strategic health initiatives, influence and coach leaders to embed best-practice health management, oversee health surveillance and medical programs, design and deliver health and wellbeing programs (fitness for work, psychosocial risk, fatigue), support pre-employment medicals and return-to-work processes, and partner with teams to improve occupational health and hygiene programs. Travel is required. The position supports a safe, inclusive, high-performance culture with a hybrid work model (three office days and two remote days per week).
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a recognised health or allied health discipline
- Occupational health experience, ideally within mining, manufacturing or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of psychosocial risk, health surveillance, injury management and WHS legislation
- Proven ability to coach, influence and guide stakeholders
- Class C Drivers Licence and ability to obtain Explosives security clearance
