Senior Health, Safety & Training Advisor

Job Summary
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations while delivering inductions, facilitating training, and completing Verification of Competency assessments. Maintain training records, competency matrices, and compliance documentation. Assist in developing health, safety, and training systems, procedures, and standards. Support emergency response preparedness, exercises, and capability development. Coach leaders to build a strong safety culture and partner with operational teams to drive continuous improvement across HST performance. Work a 7 days on, 7 days off roster at the Finniss Lithium Operation near Darwin.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a Health, Safety & Training (or HSET) role within mining or heavy industry
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Relevant Work Health & Safety qualifications
- Experience conducting Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments
- Experience facilitating investigations, risk assessments and workplace inspections
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and mining safety practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
