Job Summary
Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join Northern Star Resources on a permanent, full-time 8/6 roster, based at the Perth corporate office with travel to sites (typical pattern: 2 days in the office, 6 days on site). Core responsibilities include partnering with WHS teams and leaders to drive safety outcomes, supporting the Mine Health and Safety Management System, implementing risk management, coordinating document harmonisation of critical procedures, conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments, assisting with serious incident investigations, and promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement. Required qualifications include a tertiary WHS credential, Lead Auditor (desirable), and a WA C Class Drivers’ Licence; demonstrated experience in a similar role and effective stakeholder management are essential. Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety (or related discipline)
- Lead Auditor qualification (desirable)
- current WA C Class Drivers’ Licence
- demonstrated experience in a similar WHS role or equivalent
- strong knowledge of risk management processes and procedure reviews
