Job Summary
Manage complex client engagements for 2,000+ life employers, overseeing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, and renewals. Negotiate with benefits carriers and vendors to secure coverage, acting as the client and relationship manager. Develop sophisticated benefits design strategies, create tools for complex issues, and set full-scope service roles within client teams. Communicate industry trends to clients, monitor project success against scope and budget, and drive demand for new products. Manage new business opportunities with sales channel partners while maintaining accountability for revenue and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex health care benefit plans
- Client facing experience in a consulting capacity
- Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health & benefits field
- Life and Health License
- Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills plus the ability to market organizational strengths successfully
- Well-versed mathematical skills
- Strategic planning skills
- Communication skills
- Listening skills
- Proven management skills in leading large, complex projects
- Ability to work at least three days a week in the office
