Job Summary
Recommend and schedule repairs for the SSP network while providing end-user support for all network-based applications. Install and configure workstations, laptops, and iPhones, then troubleshoot VPN issues and Windows operating system problems including patching and deployment. Independently diagnose complex hardware and software issues, manage IT projects with resource allocation, and maintain comprehensive records for auditing. Prepare for IT Accreditation and cybersecurity inspections by collaborating with the SPCIO office. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians while managing IT budgets for hardware and software procurement. This role supports large-scale government operations at Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions in Navy Yard, Washington, DC, with a Secret clearance requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Bachelor's degree
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of experience
- CompTIA Certification A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Secret clearance
