Job Summary
Senior Hardware Network Fabric Development Engineer responsible for designing, simulating, validating and debugging high-performance electrical systems for industry-leading supercomputer systems. Will create simulation models, plan and execute simulation suites, correlate models to lab results, develop PCB signal integrity rules, and drive issue resolution with hands-on testing. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of high-performance electrical design experience, including Ethernet or Infiniband components, and strong knowledge of signal integrity; RF/microwave design is preferred; experience with HFSS and tools like Ansoft/Allegro; scripting skills (Python, Perl, Bash) are a plus; excellent communication skills; onsite work at HPE offices in the US (Wisconsin or Texas) with a salary range of $119,500–$275,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
- 10+ years' experience in High Performance Electrical Design
- Experience with Ethernet or Infiniband components and systems
- Experience with Signal Integrity
- Experience RF and Microwave design is preferred
- Experience with 3D Modeling with tools such as HFSS is highly preferred
- Knowledge and Skills: Electrical design tools such as Ansoft, HFSS, Allegro; scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash)
