Job Summary
Senior Hardware Integration & Test Electrical Engineer to lead the integration, testing, and qualification of spacecraft electronics. Will act as subject-matter expert and may serve as technical lead during production, coordinating lab activities, debugging, and implementing continuation engineering changes. Responsibilities include planning integration/characterization activities, leading lab tests with standard equipment, troubleshooting to ensure quality final products, reviewing design and test documentation, reading digital/analog schematics, and enhancing production yield through data analysis. Ideal candidate has hands-on hardware test experience, proficiency with FPGA/digital circuits, and strong communication skills to collaborate with design teams and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (BSEE)
- minimum 10 years of experience in hardware integration and test for spacecraft electronics
- ability to lead an engineering team through integration, test, and qualification processes
- fundamental knowledge of producing and testing electronics with emphasis on digital circuits, processors, FPGAs, and power supplies
- ability to read and understand digital and analog schematics
- experience with reviewing production travelers and test procedures
- ability to read and edit software test scripts
- experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electronics systems from component to system level
- familiarity with schematic tools, BOM/ERP, work order and traveler management, and data analysis in spreadsheets
- experience with engineering changes to schematics and BOMs
- experience with assembly and test of spacecraft hardware (desirable)
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- methodical and disciplined testing approach
- ability to use lab equipment (bench supplies, scopes, logic analyzers)
- familiarity with quality control methods and configuration management
- US Citizenship required
