Job Summary
Lead electrical hardware design, test, and analysis for Terran R launch-vehicle electronics. Own full lifecycle from concept through flight maturity, including initial design, board bring-up, design verification, qualification, initial flight production, integration, and vehicle operations. Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and software teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable electronics solutions for mission-critical aerospace applications. Strong emphasis on electronics design for harsh environments, cross-functional collaboration, and project management to ensure on-schedule hardware delivery. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience; proficiency with Altium or equivalent eCAD; hands-on hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis; and board-level design from concept to manufacturing. Nice-to-haves include embedded software integration experience and advanced expertise in motor drives, DC-DC converters, and high-voltage electronics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in electronics designed for harsh environments and mission-critical applications such as launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, or robotics
- Familiarity with eCAD software such as Altium or equivalent
- Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis
- Experience with board-level design from concept to manufacturing
- Experience working with highly cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, electrical, software) to develop integrated electronics solutions
