Job Summary
Senior Hardware Engineer responsible for ECU hardware development for automotive applications. Key duties include requirement analysis and concept definition, module/ECU design and development with worst-case calculations and simulations, schematic and BOM preparation, layout development coordination, sample development coordination with the plant, test plan preparation and ECU testing, EMC test planning and coordination, and project documentation per DFMEA and Functional Safety processes. Requires BE/B.E degree and 6-9 years of experience in automotive hardware engineering; location in Coimbatore, India; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.E degree in Engineering
- 6-9 years of experience in hardware development for automotive ECU
- Experience in requirement analysis, concept definition, module/ECU design and development
- Worst-case calculation and simulation
- Schematic and BOM preparation
- Layout development coordination
- Sample development coordination with manufacturing plant
- Test plan preparation and ECU testing
