Job Summary
Senior Hardware Design Engineer at RTX-Raytheon seeks expertise in digital/analog hardware and subsystem design to develop radar receiver, exciter, and transmitter hardware. Responsibilities include circuit and sub-system architecture, modeling, simulation, verification, integration and test at component/CCA/subsystem levels, transition to production, and providing technical support to manufacturing. Travel to supplier, integration, and customer sites may be required. Qualifications emphasize design experience across digital/analog domains, familiarity with design tools (HyperLynx, LTSpice, MATLAB, Mentor Xpedition), and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret-level security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. The role is 1st shift and onsite in Massachusetts with potential travel between MA sites.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in digital/analog hardware and subsystem design
- Experience with circuit-card assemblies and design verification
- Experience with design simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, LTSpice) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB)
- Experience with design development tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics Xpedition)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
