Job Summary
Senior HACCP Supervisor lead and oversee HACCP/HARPC program and SQF/BRC-related food safety activities at the Bowling Green plant. Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP/HARPC, SSOP, and SOP programs; review and monitor facility documents; supervise FSQA staff; coordinate audits with government, customers, and corporate teams; ensure product labeling compliance and adherence to customer specifications; provide training and support to staff; ensure compliance with GFSI standards; engage with customers during plant tours/audits; travel up to ~3 times per year.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 2 or more years of basic HACCP implementation and sanitation experience in a food processing plant
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- HACCP/HARPC certifications are preferred, or the ability/willingness to obtain
- Broad knowledge of HACCP, US Standards (USDA), GMP, and SSOPs
- Strong understanding of HACCP, HARPC, SSOP, and SOP systems
- Ability to communicate across multiple disciplines and with government officials
- Travel: Approximately 1-3 trips per year
