Senior Grower

Senior Grower responsible for driving production across a glasshouse site, acting as the go-to contact for all growing operations while executing the company’s strategic vision. Hands-on leadership across climate control, irrigation systems, and greenhouse infrastructure to deliver exceptional results, in collaboration with the Growing Director, General Manager and Operations Manager. Core duties include monitoring climate and irrigation control, IPM involvement, contributing to cropping plans, maintaining day-to-day crop records and weekly/monthly forecasts, managing fertilisation and nutrient feeding, advising on labour processes during daily site visits with Team Leaders/Operations Manager, coordinating with the IPM team, ensuring safety and hygiene protocols, and leading by example in staff performance and site organisation. Requires IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) and strong skills in strategic planning, data analysis, communication, leadership, and financial awareness.
