Job Summary
Senior Group Manager CA(SA) responsible for overseeing the financial management of the Group, IFRS-compliant financial reporting, and technical accounting oversight. Leads preparation and review of annual financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries, supports external audit processes, maintains internal control frameworks, manages share schemes accounting and related disclosures, participates in funding discussions and covenant monitoring, oversees merchandise imports accounting, and supervises accounts payable and sundry debtors functions. Required to apply extensive technical accounting knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, resilience under tight deadlines, and a proven track record in a complex listed-retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- CA (SA)
- Extensive experience (at least 10 years post articles) in a complex financial environment
- Professional understanding of technical accounting standards, financial statements and reporting, and financial controls
