Job Summary

Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers across designated business areas on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Manage an employee relations caseload independently, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, and flexible working matters. Coach managers in handling people matters confidently while supporting the delivery of the Group's people strategy to improve retention and engagement. Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses and contribute to organisational development initiatives like succession planning and talent reviews. Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and support informed decision making. Ensure all HR activity remains legally compliant and aligned with current employment legislation.

Required Qualifications

  • Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards)
  • Strong generalist HR experience
  • Previous experience operating as a Senior HR Advisor or equivalent within a fast-paced organisation
  • Confident managing a varied employee relations caseload independently, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
  • Experience providing professional HR advice and coaching to managers at different levels
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credible working relationships across the business
  • Ability to balance operational HR responsibilities with involvement in wider people projects and initiatives
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and identify trends
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how effective people practices support business performance
  • Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working within a growing and evolving organisation
  • Strong IT skills, including HR systems and Microsoft Office applications

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting organisational change, business growth or acquisitions would be advantageous
