Job Summary
Senior Group Accountant hybrid role requiring consolidation and external accounting expertise. You will prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS, ensure SEC/SOX compliance, serve as the accounting contact across departments, maintain data quality, drive automation and standardization of reporting, and support special accounting projects in an international, capital-market oriented group.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable education
- Relevant professional experience as a (Senior) Group Accountant or in a comparable position
- Strong expertise in US GAAP and IFRS is required, including experience with SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and US regulatory frameworks
- Practical or theoretical consolidation knowledge
- Very good Excel skills and knowledge of management reporting systems (LucaNet is a plus) as well as of disclosure management systems
- Interested in being part of an international capital market-oriented group of companies
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and very good communication skills
- “Hands-on” mentality
