Senior Groundwater Modeller (Hydrogeologist)

Job Summary
Develop conceptual, analytical, and numerical groundwater models to support environmental impact assessments, permitting, and remediation projects. Provide senior hydrogeological technical input as a subject matter expert, conducting studies, interpreting aquifer tests, and performing spatial analysis. Lead proposal development, scope creation, and presentations to drive business growth while mentoring junior team members. Interface with clients, assessors, and government regulators to deliver technical communications and reports. Foster a high-performing team culture through collaboration and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related science (Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or Engineering)
- 7 - 9 years of relevant experience in mining or environmental consulting with demonstrated success in groundwater modelling and groundwater programs
- Experience with hydrogeological modelling software (FEFLOW, MODFLOW, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of hydrogeological study design and comfort integrating with multi-disciplinary studies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Master's / Doctorate level degree preferred
- P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility an asset
