Job Summary
Senior Grant Writer researches foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities and develops successful grant applications to advance CHS strategic objectives and priorities. Responsibilities include managing, writing, and submitting grant proposals, conducting prospect research on funding opportunities, presenting details to CHS teams, maintaining records in CRM, providing grant technical support, assisting with program design and SMART outcomes, collaborating with grant writers to manage proposals, maintaining relationships with funders, and contributing to a positive work environment. Requires expertise in grant writing for foundation, corporate, and government funding, strong collaboration, planning, and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and handle sensitive information. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of grant-writing experience are required; a Master’s degree is preferred. All applicants are subject to background screening. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services from an accredited university, required
- Five years of successful experience in federal, state, and foundation grant writing and administration, required
