Job Summary

Senior Government Sales Rep for Medtronic ACM territory (TX, OK, CO, NM, WY) responsible for selling and expanding the ACM portfolio across VA, DoD, and Indian Health Service accounts. Role blends clinical device and Digital Health solutions (including RPM/telehealth) with program management, account capitalizing on multi-product opportunities, and maintaining rigorous CRM and pipeline hygiene. Requires navigating federal procurement processes, engaging diverse stakeholders across hospital and government facilities, and traveling to accounts with up to 60% travel. Strong preference for candidates based in TX/OK with ability to support nationwide territories; must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts. Requires relevant federal healthcare sales experience, ability to manage complex accounts, and a valid driver’s license. US work authorization sponsorship is limited to Principal-level roles and above; otherwise, U.S. work authorization is required. Education: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience (or equivalent combinations) in medical devices/healthcare sales. Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and experience in federal procurement processes are highly desired.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Experience selling capital medical equipment, patient monitoring devices, or digital health/remote patient monitoring solutions in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes including Federal Supply Schedule (FSS/MAS) contract vehicles, VISN-level standardization processes, and eBuy/SAM.gov platforms
  • Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder accounts (Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Anesthesiology, Procurement) across large institutional healthcare systems
  • Track record of competitive displacement or account conversion in medical device or healthcare technology sales
  • Familiarity with RPM programs and digital health solutions
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline management
  • Strong consultative and outcomes-based sales skills; ability to translate clinical evidence into commercial narratives
  • Proven ability to manage a broad geographic territory with minimal day-to-day oversight
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet VA/DoD site access and credentialing requirements
  • Experience collaborating with clinical specialists, contract administrators, and national account teams
  • Knowledge of remote patient monitoring platforms and telehealth ecosystems
  • Awareness of VISN-level standardization opportunities and enterprise agreements
