Job Summary

Senior Government Contracts Manager to lead lifecycle management for U.S. government programs and strategic prime engagements. Manages capture, teaming, and prime engagement activities; negotiates and structures teaming agreements, NDAs, MOUs, subcontracts, and related pursuit-stage documents; reports on subcontracting structures, flow-down risk, and pricing assumptions; collaborates with business development to shape deal strategy and respond to RFI/RFQ/RFP/BAA/IDIS opportunities; drafts and administers government contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and amendments; ensures FAR/DFARS compliance, export controls, data rights, and regulatory requirements; supports post-award administration, risk management, and contract records; drives process improvements and scalable contracting capabilities; strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration with engineering, finance, supply chain, legal, and program teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in government contracts, subcontracts, contract management, procurement, legal operations, or related roles
  • Deep working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, federal contracting practices, and prime/subcontract flow-down structures
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating teaming agreements, subcontracts, NDAs, proposal-stage agreements, and strategic partner arrangements with large prime contractors
  • Experience supporting capture, proposal, and contract execution for U.S. Government or government-prime opportunities
  • Strong understanding of government contract vehicles and procurement processes, including RFP/RFQ/BAA responses, IDIQs, task orders, and common federal contract types
  • Ability to operate independently, exercise sound business judgment, and embed with business teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical, business-oriented approach to risk allocation, negotiation, and internal client service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex contracting issues into clear business guidance
  • Active or prior U.S. Government security clearance, or ability to obtain one, a plus
