Senior GM Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and other retired GM brand vehicles using computerized diagnostic tools and road testing. Conferring with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle concerns, then documenting cause and correction statements on repair orders while maintaining strict factory guidelines. Mentor younger apprentice technicians to develop into productive service technicians. Contact factory technical assistance as needed for complex diagnoses. Maintain work area housekeeping and perform all tasks adhering to safety standards while lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires five-plus years of GM dealership experience, valid driver's license, and 100% GM training certification. No Saturday work; five-day schedule from 7:30am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- at least 5+ years of experience as a GM Dealership Automotive Service Technician
- valid driver's license

- supply own general tools
- actively pursuing or already maintaining 100% GM training in required fields/categories
- able to stand, bend, squat, reach and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
