Job Summary
Senior Global Sourcing Manager, Radar leads radar commodity strategies, end-to-end procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure cost, quality, and supply chain resilience for radar systems. Responsibilities include leading RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, negotiating commercial agreements with contract manufacturers, influencing technical design specs with engineering, conducting detailed cost analyses (TCO), supporting prototypes and build milestones, and driving supplier performance and continuity. The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, governance of supplier and product lifecycle from sourcing to MP, and ability to travel up to 50% with relocation onsite in Costa Mesa, CA. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees in physics or engineering and experience in defense/aerospace sectors, with a U.S. TS clearance a recognized asset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of radar manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
