Job Summary
Senior Global Sourcing Manager for casting leads end-to-end supplier strategies for mechanical casting, focusing on cost reduction, technology development, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience. Responsible for delivering quality parts at the right cost, managing supplier relationships, negotiating key agreements, and guiding sourcing activities from RFI/RFQ/RFP through to production. Collaborates with Engineering to influence design specs, supports prototypes and build milestones, analyzes cost breakdowns using data-driven decisions (TCO), and drives supplier performance with cross-functional teams. Requires ability to travel up to 50%, willingness to relocate to onsite Costa Mesa, CA, and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. TS clearance. US-based salary range: $166,000–$220,000; comprehensive benefits and equity are included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of mechanical casting manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
