Job Summary
Develop global medical and evidence strategy documents for Gastroenterology (IBD) and Inflammation pipeline compounds through independent drafting of comprehensive medical affairs strategies and strategic frameworks. Execute structured evaluations on pre-clinical, clinical, and real-world data to identify evidence gaps and draft finalized Evidence Generation Plans, delivering analytical reports that translate evaluated data into actionable scientific concepts. Create Clinical Outcome Assessment and Patient-Reported Outcome strategic frameworks, including technical instrument selection and formal strategy documents that justify measurement tools for health authorities and payers. Draft medical narratives, publication plans, and structured content for educational programs while executing competitive landscape analyses and stakeholder engagement concepts with health authorities and Key Opinion Leaders. Deliver comprehensive documentation, analysis, presentations, and frameworks with handover to client for review. This consultancy supports conceptualization of global medical affairs pipeline strategies and evidence generation frameworks for the assigned pipeline compounds.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in human health sciences (MD, PhD, or PharmD in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a closely related field)
- Extensive experience in Global Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Deep therapeutic expertise in Gastroenterology / Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and/or Inflammation
- Proven track record in designing and implementing global evidence generation strategies beyond traditional sponsor-led clinical trials
- Hands-on experience with Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) and Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) early in pipeline development
- Track record of driving data dissemination through peer-reviewed scientific publications and international congresses
- Demonstrated ability to lead, chair, and influence cross-functional matrix teams at a global level
- Active external network with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), health authorities, patient advocacy organizations, and payers in the gastrointestinal/inflammation space
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- 30% international travel
