Senior Global Intercompany Accountant

Job Summary
Senior Global Intercompany Accountant role focused on unifying worldwide ledgers into a consolidated view of corporate performance. Responsibilities include assisting with global accounting closes, preparing/reviewing entries for intercompany settlement and eliminations, maintaining transfer pricing consistency, supporting chart of accounts changes, entity reporting hierarchies, user access, and consolidation mappings, and liaising with planning, treasury, tax, and external auditors. Requires ensuring GAAP/SEC compliance, understanding foreign currency issues, month-end close procedures, consolidations, and SOX controls. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in accounting (CPA a plus) with experience in Big 4 or industry accounting, proficiency with multiple ERP/EPM/financial reporting systems, and advanced MS Office skills. The role is based in Navasota, TX, US, and requires in-person collaboration across multiple subsidiary relationships and international entities, with flexibility to accommodate time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience in Big 4 or Industry Accounting with proven ability to work with multiple EPM and financial reporting systems
- Experience with financial consolidation of different business units, companies, and international entities as well as multiple accounting systems
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of financial reporting requirements under GAAP and SEC regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, foreign currency issues, month end close procedures, eliminations and consolidations, SOX controls and external audit procedures
- Ability to offer flexibility in schedule to accommodate various time-zones
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Access/Monarch
