Senior Global Intercompany Accountant

Job Summary
Senior Global Intercompany Accountant responsible for bringing worldwide general ledgers together to provide a consolidated view of corporate performance. Acts as a global point person for intercompany settlements and eliminations, ensures GAAP/SEC compliance, coordinates with corporate accounting, tax, treasury, and external auditors, and supports variance analysis and financial reporting across locations and entities. Will manage multiple subsidiary relationships, collaborate on changes to the global chart of accounts and entity reporting hierarchies, and ensure accurate intercompany transact ions, foreign currency handling, and consolidation mappings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience with Big 4 or Industry Accounting
- Experience with financial consolidation of different business units, companies, and international entities
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of financial reporting requirements under GAAP and SEC regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, foreign currency issues, month end close procedures, eliminations and consolidations, SOX controls and external audit procedures
- Ability to offer flexibility in schedule to accommodate various time-zones
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Access/Monarch
