Job Summary
Senior Global Forwarding Agent at C.H. Robinson responsible for managing the shipment lifecycle of global freight, coordinating bookings, pre-alerts, governmental filings, and delivery, ensuring accurate invoicing and data integrity, and providing track-and-trace service. Collaborates with customers, agents, and vendors; leverages Navisphere for shipment records; prepares complex quotes; mentors staff on pricing strategies; builds strong customer relationships and drives process improvements and technology-enabled efficiencies. The role emphasizes hands-on customer interaction, problem-solving in a fast-paced setting, and contributing to a high-performing team with opportunities in Operations, Sales, or Account Management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of Global Forwarding industry experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in Local language and English (written and verbal)
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business (preferred)
- Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proactive, ambitious, hardworking, and analytical mindset
