Job Summary

Senior Global Commodity Manager (Passives) at NVIDIA responsible for MLCC sourcing strategy within the Boards and Systems Supply Chain Group. Owns strategic sourcing and commodity management for passive components, develops and communicates global sourcing strategies, and builds cross-functional alignment with hardware engineering. Manages supplier relationships, conducts supplier reviews, negotiates supplier agreements, and drives cost reduction, lead-time stabilization, and data integrity to ensure supply resiliency. Leads early supplier involvement for NPI to achieve fast time-to-market, plans capacity for high-volume ramps, and enables production-scale strategies, while leveraging AI tools to enhance analysis and decision making. Includes focus on supplier selection, RFQ processes, and risk mitigation across the passive commodity portfolio in support of NVIDIA’s product development and supply chain goals.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • MBA Preferred
  • 12+ years' experience in global commodity management and proven track record in managing MLCC Supply Base
  • Deep understanding of MLCC technologies, market, manufacturing process, cost drivers and supply landscape
  • Ability to be innovative with issues related to strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and supplier performance measurement systems
  • Strong analytical skills such as cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection, and supply/demand analysis
  • Ability to incorporate AI tools to improve supply chain and sourcing analysis, data integrity, and decision making
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills in supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills dealing with supply base executives
  • High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail in a collaborative environment
  • Technical experience to complement strong program management skills (preferred)
