Job Summary
Senior Global Clinical Operations Director responsible for owning the operational strategy and end-to-end delivery of global clinical programs across early and late development, from design through final study reports and archive. Lead feasibility, country and site selection, risk management, and adoption of innovative delivery models to enable faster, more robust evidence generation. Provide cross-functional input to key regulatory and development documents; lead regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities; manage relationships with CROs/AROs and alliance partners; oversee governance, budgeting, headcount, and timelines; drive process improvements and mentor clinical operations leaders. Requires extensive global drug development leadership with a track record in program management, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and willingness to travel. Oncology experience required; Haematology experience preferred; advanced degree preferred (PhD/MD/PharmD desirable). Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Extensive global drug development leadership or equivalent leadership experience
- Clinical operations knowledge with strong track record of delivery
- Experience in program management with resourcing, financial management and business case development
- Proven ability to develop collaborations with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Strong strategic influencing skills and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
