Job Summary
Lead complex commercial glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance while coordinating schedules, fabrication, procurement, and installation. Review contracts, specifications, and drawings; build relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; lead negotiations and resolve challenges. Oversee risk management and change orders, mentor junior team members, and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects. This role is based in Winnipeg for an existing vacancy within Flynn Group of Companies, offering performance bonuses, vehicle allowances, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience managing commercial glazing projects
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects valued between $500K and $2M+
- Extensive knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and commercial glazing systems
- Strong contract administration, budgeting, and negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- PMP designation considered an asset
- Education in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field considered an asset
- Advanced proficiency with project management software including Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam considered an asset
