Job Summary
Senior GL Accountant in BeOne’s Global Business Service Centre in Warsaw, Poland. The role focuses on general ledger accounting across multiple countries, with responsibilities including preparing SAP GL entries, managing last-mile close, supporting local statutory filings, preparing bank statement postings, and performing reconciliations. The position supports SOX/external audit requests, assists with payroll accounting reconciliations, and contributes to developing accounting policies and enhancing process/system efficiencies in a hybrid work environment. Requirements include strong US GAAP and local GAAP knowledge, hands-on SAP (S/4HANA a strong plus), experience in mature SSC/GBS settings, and excellent communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in a multinational finance environment
- Proficiency in SAP S/4Hana or SAP ERP systems
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., Blackline, Ariba, Excel, Power BI, Concur, Workday)
- Strong English communication skills; German language capability is a plus
