Job Summary
Senior Giving Officer, Corporate & Foundation Relations responsible for creating, managing, and stewarding MNHS’s relationships with corporations and foundations to increase support for general operations, sponsorships, and special projects. Oversees production and distribution of proposals and acknowledgement materials to corporations and foundations, manages sponsorship fulfillment and reporting, and oversees major national/local grant funders. Key duties include managing the Corporate and Foundation fundraising program to meet revenue goals, building/developing the corporate sponsorship program, and supporting sustained engagement of the Development Committee. Strong emphasis on donor stewardship, grant/proposal development, reporting, and staff supervision within a nonprofit context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus eight years of successful corporate relations, fundraising or sponsorship work in a related non-profit environment or equivalent OR an advanced degree plus six years of experience or equivalent in a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience supervising other corporate and foundation relations or sponsorship staff
- Demonstrated effectiveness working with computer office systems (Office products, Google), development software preferred.
