Job Summary
Senior GIS Data Analyst to lead GIS development for utility data delivery; responsibilities include designing Survey123 collection forms, developing Operations Dashboards and Experience Builder apps, and building custom integrations against the ArcGIS API for Python and JavaScript (including AI/ML-enabled workflows). You will architect end-to-end data + GIS solutions for utility clients, set the technical bar for GIS development, lead client engagements during scoping and implementation reviews, and mentor analysts to grow skills in form authoring, Experience Builder development, and API work. The role emphasizes translating utility-side requirements into deployment-ready GIS applications and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in a remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography/GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5–7+ years of professional experience in GIS development, data engineering, or utility analytics — at least 3 in a hands-on GIS development role
- Demonstrated portfolio of deployed Survey123 forms, Experience Builder apps, or ArcGIS API integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data and deliver insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with clients and cross-functional teams
- Highly organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
